The ingredients needed to make Garri and Egwusi soup:
  1. Make ready 2 cups blended egwusi
  2. Get Washed and diced soft Kpomo
  3. Prepare 1/2 kg beef
  4. Get Stockfish flakes
  5. Get Red bell pepper (blended)
  6. Take Grounded Crayfish
  7. Get Grounded Cameroon pepper
  8. Take 2 cooking soup of palm oil
  9. Get Blended Okpeyi
  10. Make ready 2 Seasoning cubes
  11. Make ready Grated Ginger and garlic
  12. Prepare Diced Onion
  13. Get Uziza and scent leaves(washed and sliced)
  14. Take Salt
  15. Make ready 3 cups Garri

The egwusi/vegetables/ingredients will go one side and the water will go the other side. Out of frustrations, I have finished the meat and I'm about to get rid of the soup now.

Instructions to make Garri and Egwusi soup:
  1. Soak and Wash stockfish with hot water. Wash beef and mix with h stockfish and mix together
  2. Allow to cook steam for awhile and add seasoning cubes, ginger, garlic, pepper, onion, salt and add water. Cook until its tender then set aside.
  3. Heat palm oil and stir fry onion and egwusi for awhile
  4. Pour stockfish and meat stick inside and add seasoning cubes, pepper, garlic, ginger, okpeyi and salt
  5. Stir and Cover pot to simmer for 3 mins. Check for salt and add uziza and scent leaves
  6. Allow to simmer for 2 more mins
  7. Boil water in a kettle. Pour hot water inside mortar remain a little in the kettle
  8. Pour the garri into the mortar until it’s covered the water, sprinkle a little hot water on top of the garrri and cover to settle
  9. Use pestle to all turn garri
  10. Enjoy your egwusi soup and garri

How can I make a good Egwusi soup that the ingredients doesn't quarrel with the water? put small garri.it will thicken d soup. When did people start adding garri into egusi soup?
